Enjoy the best of Acapulco, on this half-day tour with a local guide and a comfortable outing in the morning or afternoon. Afterwards, see the latest that Acapulco has to offer in the “Zona Diamante“, which its beautiful beaches and concert hall and a convention center.
Be prepared outside the Cruise Terminal in the Parque de la Reina to meet your guide who will carry a sign with your name. Climb aboard our vehicle and start a journey that will give you a complete view of the city.
Accompanied by a professional tour guide, the tour begins with a walk to the oldest part of the city. Later on, passing through the Fuerte de San Diego Museum, the Main Square (Zócalo) and the peninsula, as well as knowing the traditional area that is developed between 1930 and 1960 and its houses in historic neighborhoods, as well as the world famous La Quebrada, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the impressive spectacle of divers. You can also visit a silver store nearby. Entrance price for the show is not included.
The tour continues along the main street, Costera Miguel Alemán, through the golden zone, to take a look at the tourist areas of Acapulco. “La Costera“, as everybody knows, was inaugurated in February 1949, named after Ex-President Miguel Alemán Valdés.
Then continue on the Scenic Highway, from where you can admire the wonderful views of Santa Lucia Bay and Puerto Marqués Bay. The huge cliffs that form the mountains that surround the bay will allow you wonderful views to take pictures. After driving along the highway, you will find yourself in the new Diamond Zone to witness the new developments and investment of Acapulco.
In the area you will find the Revolcadero Beach, a large shopping center “La Isla”, the new convention center with a great Mundo Imperial concert forum, four golf courses, three times bigger than the bay lagoon and much more. A brief stop at the traditional Princess Mundo Imperial Hotel.
Soon after, you will begin your trip back to the cruise terminal, to board the ship and enjoy the afternoon.
